Book Search and Ordering Information
 In order to accommodate online ordering,
we have entered into a partnership with IndieBound. IndieBound is
hosting an online database consisting of millions of titles. To browse
this database click here. You will notice, however, that this online database is not our local inventory.
You can still place inquiries, or order any title currently in stock at
our stores by email, fax, or telephone. We will ship your books
anywhere in the world. We will also hold them at one of our locations
if you just feel like running in to pick it up. And, if you live in
San Francisco, we'll deliver your book to you the very same day. Please
call for delivery costs and availability.
 If you have a need for professional medical or nursing titles, Stacey's also has an affiliation with Medbooksdirect.com which allows for online access to Stacey's extensive selection of medical and professional titles.
(Please note: Our Literary
License discount program applies only to in-store purchases and does
not apply to purchases made through our web site. Most prices on our
web site are automatically discounted 10% to make up for this)

Returns:
STACEY'S return policy is as follows: All returnable books must be
returned within 14 days of purchase. Returned books must be in saleable
condition; no marks, bent pages or worn covers. An exchange, store
credit, or method of payment refund may be requested when returning
merchandise.
The following types of merchandise are not returnable:
- Any item bought with a store credit or exchange
- Software or books with software, if opened
- Magazines
- Study guides (test preparation manuals)
Shipping:
STACEY'S ships world wide. We offer U.S. Postal Service, UPS and
Federal Express. We also offer same-day delivery within San Francisco
for a nominal fee. Within the rest of the Bay Area, your book will
typically take 3 to 5 days. Within the rest of the continental United
States, your book will typically take 6 to 10 days to arrive (unless
you request an overnight or second-day air service). Outside of the
United States and Canada, your shipment time will vary depending upon
the type of service you select. Please be aware, however, that due to
ongoing conflicts in parts of the Middle East and several other
countries, shipments made to these regions will take longer and may not
be insurable. If you have more specific questions about which
geographical areas are affected, please contact us.
